On December 29th December, Matt and I travelled up to Bermondsey to have lunch with Jamie and Jason in their lovely flat in a converted church. Jason cooked a super 3 course meal - Jamie's contribution was to carve the beef very badly. After lunch, we played one of Jamie's bizarre games - strangely,it was fun! Jamie came to the underground station with us as we had to go by bus (it was absolutely pouring down!) We said our goodbyes and wished each other a happy new year and made an agreement to meet up for Jamie's birthday in a few weeks. Sadly, it was to be the last time we would see him alive and his birthday was actually spent selecting a burial plot at Chiltern Woodland Park.
